SOLID WOODS: |

Red Oak |
White, gray with red tint accepted on face. Mineral allowed approx.
1/16" wide x 8" long. Rips no less than 1" wide.
No knots. Burl and filled pinhole knots acceptable. Mineral may
appear in machined area. |

Select Red Oak |
Same as Red Oak except no rips less and 2" wide in center
of panel unless perfect in grain and color match. Mineral may
appear in machined areas of panel and outside edge of frame. |

Cherry |
Natural range of colors allowed, including limited Sapwood |
|
Select Cherry |
Same as cherry, except Sapwood allowed in machined areas only. |
|
Walnut |
Natural range of colors allowed. White Sapwood allowed in machined
areas only. |
|
Ash |
Natural range of colors, limited brown. |
|
Select Ash |
Natural range of colors, a higher grade of color match. |
|
Maple |
Northern Select White Hard Maple, similar to Birch in appearance. |
|
Paint Grade |
A mixture of solid paintable woods acceptable. Because of natural
expansion and contraction of wood, painted doors may show cracks
in joints and glue lines in panels. To minimize potential problems,
we suggest ordering Paint Grade with MDF Panels. |

PLYWOODS: |
Frame same as solid raised panel. Plywood insert back veneer
may not match face veneer on some wood types. |
