MELAMINE PANELS |

Melamine surfaced panels are ideally suited for use in
the manufacture of cabinets, furniture, displays and fixtures.
The product allows you to provide your customer with a durable
quality surface at a competitive cost. A melamine impregnated
decorative sheet is thermal-fused to high quality particle board.
It is available in solids and woodgrains. Melamine panels are
wear, heat and scratch resistant and are easily cleaned with
soap and water or solvents. Panels may be cut, joined, and assembled
using standard woodworking tools and procedures. Sold in 4' x
8' panels. |

MEDIUM
DENSITY FIBRE BOARD
Manufactured by MacMillan-Bloedel |
|
MDF from MacMillan-Bloedel is a smooth surfaced material
with superior edge characteristics allowing for precise machining
and a flawless finish. The MDF manufacturing process utilizes
fibers from select hardwoods resulting in a complete, homogenous
product of exceptional strength and dimensional stability. MacMillan-Bloedel
utilizes state-of-the-art controls to achieve consistent MDF
fiber quality resulting in an unmatched vertical density profile.
This in turn provides a uniform finish for demanding uses such
as direct printing, painting and thin laminate applications.
Panel consistency and ease of machining make MDF ideal for the
furniture and cabinet industries. Dimensional stability, vertical
density profile and thickness tolerance make MDF the ideal product
for door jambs, casings, baseboards, stiles and rails. |
